The cute pooch born with a perfect heart-shaped patch on its side has been suitably named Heart-kun by its owner. The long-coated baby male Chihuahua was born in Odate, northern Japan on May 18, 2007 as one of a big litter, but is the only new arrival to sport such a heart-warming coat. His natural heart-shaped markings on his fur have made him an instant star in Japan. And it was a case of puppy love across the world as the tiny dog made television appearances worldwide. This adorable lovely pup has captured the hearts of animal lovers around the world.

In modern news you usually hear about an explosion or new plans for the war in Iraq, but have you even heard of dogs, which were stuck in war, come home?

Yes, it is true; two dogs lost in Iraq are now coming home to the US. Liberty and K-Pot were two dogs that were part of the Force Protection K-9 unit in Baghdad. Liberty and K-Pot were owned by the soldiers and both canines were training to become protecting dogs. When the Force Protection K-9 group was called to move out they had to leave the dogs behind. The soldiers were afraid that the dogs would get hurt because on the streets of Baghdad, dogs aren’t pets but pests.
